Oris continues to celebrate influential figures in the jazz community with its latest release honoring famed Australian jazz musician James Morrison. While Morrison is most well known as a trumpeter, he is an accomplished composer and multi-instrumentalist, as well as the founder of the James Morrison Academy of Music. The James Morrison Academy of Music Limited Edition watch features an automatic movement with a blue gradient “dégradé” face that is beautifully complemented by golden indices and hands, one of which is tastefully shaped like the finger hook of a trumpet. The back of the stainless steel case is engraved with a trumpet – Morrison’s favorite instrument — and the very logo of his academy. The watch comes on a leather strap in a special box and is limited to 1,234 pieces.
