For those not already familiar with Hamilton’s Khaki Field Murph, here’s a quick primer. The timepiece was conceived as a custom prop for the film Interstellar, in 2014. For years after the film’s release, fans hounded Hamilton to make an IRL version of the watch, which it finally did in 2019 — to great acclaim.
Fast forward to today, here on Earth, Hamilton has announced two new references in the 38mm Khaki Field Murph lineup. The original black dial is now available with a stainless-steel bracelet for durability and versatility. But what really caught our attention is the new white dial option paired with a black leather strap. The stark contrast between deep black and crisp white harkens to this watch’s out-of-this-world origins, and we’re here for it.
Powered by the H-10 movement with an 80-hour power reserve, the Murph is a versatile, capable, inspiring watch for the modern explorer.
