Congratulations are in order for the team behind the first ever pole-to-pole expedition powered by an eclectic vehicle. On December 15th, Chris and Julie Ramsey completed the 17,000-mile journey in a Nissan Ariya e-4ORCE which was modified slightly to ensure the mission was a success. Still, the couple had to make the journey in 150-200 mile segments to allow the car to recharge frequently. This charging necessity actually resulted in new EV charging stations being installed throughout Central and South America, which will power locals for years to come.
