Wondering what’s going on in the world of superyachts? Well, Jeff Bezos’s own version turned out to be so massive, it had to be docked beside a fleet of oil tankers. The ship, The Koru, was created by Luxury Launches and remains the biggest sailing ship in the world. It recently completed a months-long journey from the Mediterranean to Port Everglades, Florida. However, once it reached the Florida port, the team found that the 416-foot ship was too large to be accommodated at the traditional yacht docks and had to be towed in beside two 600-plus-foot oil tankers. So how big is it? Well, for scale, the $500 million boat is nearly twice the length of an Airbus A380, and its 230-foot triple masts are half the size of the Great Pyramid of Giza.

Today we’re taking a look at a premium down cardigan, a Japanese-style chef’s knife and Ikea’s new smart sensors. This is Today in Gear.
