Todd Snyder is staying busy. Last week, he was chosen to serve as the Creative Director of Woolrich’s new ‘Black Label Collection.’ The new collection, officially called Woolrich Black Label by Todd Snyder, will have Snyder working closely with the company’s creative teams in Italy, Japan and the United States. Meanwhile, his own company also announced today that it has teamed up with the Metropolitan Museum of Art, to create a new collection dropping November 30. So with everything coming up Snyder, fans may have trouble choosing which collab to shop first.

Today we’re taking a look at Dickies’ new Premium Collection, Burton’s Step On system and Las Jaras. This is Today in Gear.

OluKai created the Moloā slippers so fans could have a go-to house shoe for indoor and outdoor use. The Moloā slipper is made with premium, waxed nubuck leather to ensure it’s hardy enough to carry you through your outdoor chores, but also boasts a super soft genuine shearling lining so you can stay cozy all day. Plus, thanks to its rubber outsole, you can trek across outdoor terrain without a worry.

Most Burton fans already know (and love) the brand’s classic Step On system; but now, Burton is bringing the same capability to the backcountry. The new Step On Splitboard Bindings ($520) allow users to mount and secure their boots more easily, and new Toe Hooks 2.0 come with a quick-release lever that also makes taking them off simpler. The result? Faster transitions, and more ride time.

Las Jaras is Stepping Things Up

While yes, we all know and love Glou Glou; Las Jaras seems determined to elevate its lineup. Its new 2021 Alder Springs releases feature a Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, both created with fruit from the coastal Mendocino County vineyard. The single varietal Chardonnay opens with orange blossom, wisteria and Meyer lemon on the nose and gives way to a pleasant minerality and pippin apple and yellow nectarine notes on the palate. Meanwhile, the Pinot Noir is billed as the ‘most powerful’ Pinot yet, and thanks to smooth tannins, the bottle can age for years to come.

Gear for Her

soft volume blow dry brush Ulta Beauty

Kristin Ess just launched its very first Blow Dry Brush. Designed to deliver soft volume, the styling tool comes equipped with three temperature settings and three wind speeds. Couple this with the device’s linear vent technology, and you’ll be able to distribute your preferred airflow more evenly (and thus dry and style your hair all the faster). The device also features a ceramic smoothing plate and a removable air filter, and (somehow) still retails for less than $100.
