Best Made is back. The company, known for selling axes, apparel and miscellaneous hard goods, all crafted with meticulous detail, gained something of a cult following when it burst onto the scene in 2009. However, what really made the brand “the best” was the vision of its founder, Peter Buchanan-Smith.
Years ago, he decided to sell Best Made. The company eventually ended up in the hands of Duluth Trading Co., where it struggled to maintain the momentum and prestige of its early days. Now it appears Buchanan-Smith has reacquired the rights, promising some exciting projects (and perhaps a few fancy axes) around the corner.
“I am in this to create something new, unexpected, and hopefully more relevant and compelling than ever,” he announced online. Follow along here.
