Another day, another Cybertruck delay. On Tesla’s recent Q3 earnings call, Musk explained to the team that the Cybertruck’s design is presenting challenges when it comes to scaling production. Similarly, he noted that it will be at least a year before the Cybertruck is ‘cash flow positive,’ thanks in part to the numerous delays the truck has faced since it was first announced in 2019. At the same time, he mentioned that another upcoming project, which will lay the base for the company’s ‘more accessible’ $25,000 EV — and upcoming robotaxi — will be much easier to build.
