Ferrari recently filed a patent relating to a strange, vibrating seat. The seat is designed to let the driver know when the car is about to understeer or oversteer. When activated, the seat will use signaling devices called ‘shakers’ or ‘exciters’ to generate a mechanical vibration. Depending on the issue, the vibrations will come in a different frequency and intensity, and shake on either the left or right side of the seat. All in all, the simple system could help drivers push every race to the limit.
