Did you know that Rivian’s electric Amazon van was carefully designed with a ton of smart delivery-forward features? Well, neither did we. It turns out Amazon worked directly with Rivian to develop the vehicles from scratch, and has already ordered over 100,000 units. Most of the truck’s controls can be accessed from a central touch screen, and three smart doors have each been equipped with their own special features. Best of all, even on their longest routes, the majority of drivers will use less than 33 percent of Rivian’s range on each day. To find out more about these impressive vans, check out (Gear Patrol cover star) Marques Brownlee’s full video here.

Today we’re taking a look at a lightweight drone, multi-tool wallet and herbaceous spirit. This is Today in Gear.
