BMW recently issued a ‘stop sale’ notice for all of its gas-powered motorcycles in the U.S. The notice affects sales of both new and used motorcycles at the brand’s dealers across North America. The notice was issued after the company found that one of the components in its motorcycle evaporative system may not have been produced to material specifications. That said, the company did note that the temporary stop sale is ultimately not safety related, so fans who’ve already purchased a gas-powered BMW motorcycle can continue to ride as normal. Meanwhile, it’s a great time for prospective buyers to consider the company’s fully-electric BMW CE-04; as it currently remains the only BMW motorcycle up for sale.
