At its recent CloudWork conference, Oracle revealed plans for a police vehicle based on Tesla’s cybertruck. Larry Ellison, the company’s co-founder, described the car as “very safe, very fast” and “Elon Musk’s favorite car.” Built with a stainless steel body and equipped with emergency lights, sirens and a bull bar; Ellison highlighted that the vehicle will also be powered by Oracle software. At this point, the company currently supplies cloud solutions for several law enforcement agencies, so developing a police car — while unexpected — does seem like a natural next step.
