Did you know that you can take a screenshot with your Apple Watch? While most people know how to take a screenshot on their iPhone, iPad or MacBook; it may surprise you to know that you can also capture a quick picture of any alert that pops up on your timepiece. First, you’ll need to enable the feature by going to the ‘general’ section of your watch’s settings, scrolling to ‘screenshots’ and then toggling to ‘enable screenshots.’ Then, just press the Digital Crown and side button simultaneously, and voila!

Today we’re taking a look at the newest Polaroid camera, an emergency evacuation kit for dogs and Dogwood Canyon Nature Park. This is Today in Gear.

The Polaroid I-2 ($600) is the first analog instant camera with built-in manual controls. As an added bonus, the camera boasts the brand’s sharpest lens ever. Of course, the device also comes with six easy-to-master modes for beginners, so you can choose your adventure, or experiment with exposure, to your heart’s content.

The new kit launched as part of the brand’s larger Fall/Winter 2023 collection, and is designed to help you stay prepared when disaster strikes. The BackTrak Evac Kit ($120) comes in three sizes and is made up of two parts: a lightweight, first-aid dog muzzle and a human vest with a built-in dog carrying sling. Together, the full kit can help you carry your pup to safety after any trail-bound emergency.

Nestled in Missouri, Dogwood Canyon National Park is a great destination for hikers, bikers and leaf peepers. Every year — for just a few short weeks — millions of leaves put on a dramatic show across the Ozark Mountains. Meanwhile, trails sparkle with waterfalls and crystal clear streams, and fans can book bike or horseback rides right at the trail gates. The best time to visit is mid September through the end of November, so plan your trip today.

Goal Zero Released the Skylight

The new Skylight ($300) is a portable area light that can produce 6000 lumens to illuminate up to 300 square feet. It’s the first in the brand’s new Yeti-Ready Gear line, and it can run for up to 250 hours on the lowest brightness setting when plugged into the Yeti 1000X. Plus, in addition to its telescoping height, the device can also be swiveled to direct light at your preferred area. It’s great for camping and tailgating, and super easy to pack out.

Pax Dropped New Odor-Proof Accessories

To round out its latest offerings, Pax just released a new ‘smell-proof’ bag ($50) and case ($35). Designed for discretion, the new accessories join a hardy list of other go-to cannabis gear. Nevertheless, the best drop might be the new ‘Pax Tongs’ ($15). Crafted from stainless steel, the tongs make it easy to pick up flower and neatly pack it into your device. When it’s time to remove the old material, a pick at the top of the tongs makes it easy to shake the dregs loose, while keeping your oven nice and clean.
