This Canoe Is Made From Whiskey Barrels

Sanborn Canoe Co. recently teamed up with Stranahan’s Colorado Whiskey to create a bespoke, custom-built canoe. From the staves to the lids to the strong metal hoops, Sansborn used every part of Stranahan’s whiskey barrels to reimagine its best-selling 14’6” Tennessean. The result? The striking Merrimack + Stranahan’s Blue Peak Canoe ($5,485). Hand-built and made to order, this elegant wooden watercraft requires a six- to eight-week lead time, so make sure to reserve yours asap.
