Samsung recently announced that it’s preparing to double down on repair programs for its smartphones. The company will partner with Asurion to transform 50 existing uBreakiFix stores across the U.S. into designated repair locations for Galaxy smartphones. Samsung says that the new ‘flagship’ repair centers will provide more types of phone fixes, with a faster turnaround. As a result, the stores will be equipped to handle certain types of repairs that users traditionally would not have been able to contract at a traditional walk-in repair center, and fans will also be able to purchase self-repair kits for smaller fixes as well.
