Old Pulteney recently released the oldest whisky ever. The 45-year single malt spent over 40 years in American oak barrels, before transitioning to first-fill Spanish Oak butts for its last five. The result? A whisky lined with notes of leather and nut, plus hints of dried pineapple, sandalwood and myrrh. Named the ‘Bow Wave,’ one bottle of the whisky is to be sold at the Distiller’s ‘One of One’ auction on October 5 (in partnership with Sothebys).

Aether Launched Its First Watch

The Aether + Bamford GMT ($2,500) is a Swiss-made, limited edition model. The automatic GMT watch is powered by a self-winding Sellita SW330-2 movement and 25 jewels. It was initially constructed with travel in mind, and comes equipped with a 56-hour power reserve, date window and second time zone. The dial features a topographical map pattern designed to match an adjustable dark blue NATO strap.
