While you won’t be able to buy it, Oakley has unveiled the custom eyewear it made for Tom Cruise for the latest Mission Impossible movie. The Oakley x Tom Cruise ECLP23 Eyewear notably arrives without a frame, and instead sets the shield-like lens on a slim elastic band to produce an expanded field of view. The glasses were also custom fit to Cruise’s face to ensure that they would stay on during every daredevil stunt required.

Nothing Finally Reveals Its Phone (2)

Weeks ago, Nothing teased the premium successor to its Phone (1). Now, the Phone (2) $599 is finally available for pre-order. Gear Patrol had the chance to check out the new smartphone in person, and fans can find our initial hands-on review here (with a longer explainer coming soon). The Phone (2) is powered by a new high-end processor — the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 — and will be the first Nothing smartphone available in the U.S.

Vans Did Something … Unexpected

The Vans we all know and love have apparently paved the way for a strange new slip on. The AMZN PACU Sandals ($66) are designed to deliver ample ventilation, with cutouts strewn across the entire shoe. The synthetic outsole boasts a chunky grip to help prevent slipping, and the funky shoe is now available in five different colors.

Seiko Will Release a Limited-Edition Prospex Diver

The new Shohei Ohtani Prospex Diver ($1,200) will be released in a limited run of 1,700 pieces in August. Built as a dedicated timepiece for Shohei Ohtani, Los Angeles Angels’ current pitcher, designated hitter and outfielder, the watch will drop in Japan. It boasts a 10.5mm steel case, 200M of water resistance and is powered by the Seiko 6R35 automatic caliber.
