In March of 2020, Wieden+Kennedy’s Asian-American Affinity group created a short film centered around the discrimination that Asian communities experienced during the pandemic. The film, titled ‘Call It Covid,’ pushed viewers to sit with their discomfort and ultimately amassed over 500,000,000 impressions after its initial launch. Now, the team is back with a third film entitled ‘My Sister.’ Self-described as an ‘occasion poem,’ the piece is a response to what is happening to all women today. It, “amplifies what the women of the world have begun: a revolution. And begins to do what hasn’t been done yet: connect them.”

Alpina Prepares a Very Special Launch

To celebrate its 140th anniversary, Alpina has queued up two 14-piece series. Each center around its authentic Calibre 490 — which was first released 85 years ago. The limited edition models will feature fully restored movements housed inside the original (nearly century old) watches. One series features a black dial, while the other showcases a silvered dial (though this will only be available internationally).
