The brand has launched a wide range of gorgeous handmade chef’s knives ($175 – $225) just in time for the holidays, with handles made of stunning olive, guayabira and purple heart wood and blades fashioined durable Sandvik stainless steel. Different form factors are available for different purposes, from breaking down meat to carefully slicing fish.

While Gin afficionados are intimately familiar with a wide array of botanical booze, a cornichon-forward spirit may come as a surprise. Citadelle Gin’s new, herbaceous Vive le Cornichon opens with notes of juniper and aniseed on the nose. The real show starts as flavor notes bloom into what the brand calls “the green aspects of the pickles” which lend the liquid a “salty dimension.” In the recipe are 18 other botanicals, including lemon peel, cardamom, Sichuan pepper, cinnamon, star anise and iris. To whet your whistle, consider the brand’s Dirty Gin and Tonic recipe: two ounces of Citadelle Gin Vive le Cornichon, five ounces of tonic water and one bar spoon of Cornichon brine.

Porsche Introduces “Style Edition” Variants to its 718 Lineup

Ever the champion of special editions, Porsche has released a new Style Edition aesthetics package for the 718 Boxster and Cayman models. The package includes high-gloss white wheels, white hood stripes, a white “Porsche” side graphic and a gloss white model badge above the rear bumper. Or, go for the “contrast” option and all the same elements are swapped to gloss black. Also included are black tailpipes and a silver script “Porsche” out back; Boxsters, appropriately, feature a “Boxster” logo embossed into the convertible top. All Style Editions will feature black leather with white stitching. While engine and transmission options remain unchanged, Style Edition 718s will all include a Sport Exhaust and comfort/safety features like Bi-Xenon headlights and parking sensors. Europe gets the Style Edition package first, but details surrounding a U.S. launch will come in 2023.
