New York State Senator Julia Salazar has proposed a bill that would offer a rebate on electric bicycles and scooters. The rebate would offset 50 percent of the bike or scooter’s purchase price – capped at $1,100. For context, New York state only legalized e-bikes in New York City two years ago. The ‘Ride Clean’ rebate is modeled after the state’s ‘Drive Clean’ program, which offers a discount of up to $2,000 on electric vehicles from participating dealers. Meanwhile, the French government began preparing a plan allowing residents to lease fully-electric vehicles for €100 ($100) per month. The new deal comes after the French Government offered a new subsidy of up to €4,000 for residents who trade in their gas-powered vehicles for electric or pedal-powered bicycles. Hopefully, these subsidies will only grow more competitive – and spread across the U.S. – because there are plenty of awesome e-bikes ready to hit the road.

His Daily Facial Cleanser uses jojoba beads, natural fruit enzymes, white aloe, calendula and sunflower seed oil to exfoliate, soothe and moisturize the skin. Meanwhile, the Daily Facial Moisturizer uses a microalgae solution to help shield the skin from pollution; the Classic Shave Cream is powered by hydrating, organic cucumber extract. Products in the collection retail for $36 – $46.
