Article One Announces its ACTIVE 2022 Summer Collection

Article One is an independent eyewear brand championing high-quality athleisure frames. Today, it announced a second, five-piece collection of sunglasses that boast lighter-weight frames, enhanced flexibility and enhanced scratch resistance. The company explains that this collection “deliberately resists performance aesthetics” and challenges the expectation that technical eyewear needs to look competitive or intense. All five frames are made with hexetate and CR39 polarized lenses with a backside anti-reflective coating that blocks 100 percent of UVA/UVB rays and prevents road glare. The glasses will each retail for $199 beginning on July 26.

Thousand Releases New Bike Lights to Empower Evening Cyclists

Thousand is at the front line of bicycle helmet innovation; now, it’s expanding its lineup to include front and rear lights for bikes, scooters and other ‘forms of micro-mobility.’ The lights’ design was inspired by camera lenses, and the team equipped the lights with a dial that allows riders to toggle through three modes easily: Eco Flash, Solid and Daylight Flash. Lightweight (40g) and easily mounted (magnetically) to a variety of handlebars and seat posts, the lights are available in three colors and will retail directly from the Thousand website for $65 as a set or individually for $35 each.

Carhartt WIP Teams Up with Suicoke to Release 4 Sandals

Carhartt WIP has joined forces with Suicoke to tackle two of the brand’s most popular models: the Moto and Depa. The brands have released both the Carhartt WIP x Suicoke Moto and Carhartt WIP x Suicoke Depa in two colorways, Hamilton Brown and Black. The designs take inspiration from the canvas-corduroy construction of Carhartt’s iconic Detroit Jacket, and the Moto slide features both Dearborn Canvas and corduroy across its upper. The Moto retails for $265 from the Carhartt WIP site, while the Depa can be secured for just $242.
