With Amazon Prime Day quickly approaching – 3:00am EST on July 12 to be exact – other retailers are gearing up to match, and compete, with the incoming deals. Target for example, will be promoting special deals for students and teachers and plans to host a major sales event on Prime Day. The annual “Target Deal Days” sale will run from July 11 – 13 and offer users savings on hundreds of thousands of items. Meanwhile, Walmart says it will not launch any competing sales on Prime Day. The company insists that because it has been running clearance sales and steadily rolling back prices (often because of overstock) it has no interest in promoting any greater sales or savings. That said, there may be some Prime Day savings that other companies simply can’t compete with. Hydrow Releases a Slimmer Model

The newest product from the Hydrow family is the all-new Hydrow Wave. With this latest release, Hydrow offers users a slimmed-down rower that demands less floor space while still offering the same immersive workout. In doing so, the new model takes up 36 square inches less space than its predecessor. It’s also 40 pounds lighter than the brand’s flagship rower and retails at $1,495 – $1,000 less than the standard Hydrow.

SUNBOY has released a first-of-its-kind spiked, sparkling coconut water in three tropical flavors: Passion Fruit, Pineapple and Tangerine. Coconut water has become a staple at many clubs and outdoor festivals – and is often revered as a critical hangover cure. SUNBOY combines premium coconut water with real tropical fruit juice to create its lineup, with one co-founder (Yair Tygiel) explaining, “It’s hydrating and low in sugar and calories so you feel great afterwards. Marmot and DJ Javier Design a Collection for a “Cool and Comfy Hike”

Marmot is joining forces with DJ Javier to release the “United in Design and Outdoor Access” collection. Motivated by the movement to create a more inclusive outdoor scene, the collection is inspired by both DJ Javier’s bold illustrations and his passion for building access for underserved communities to the outdoors. In addition to a variety of men’s and women’s products, the collection will also include four exclusive pieces of apparel and gear with unique designs. The brand describes the collection as “everyday fun streetwear that can be worn on mountainside adventures for a cool and comfy hike” with products ranging in price from $35 to $75.

TUDOR Releases the Newest Ranger Watch

To mark the 70th anniversary of the British North Greenland Expedition, TUDOR has released the Ranger. The tool watch includes a Manufacture Caliber MT5402, a 39-millimeter satin-brushed case in 316L steel and a clasp equipped with a rapid adjustment system. In 1929, the TUDOR team first registered the “Ranger” name, and since the 1960s, users have learned to recognize a handful of “Ranger” aesthetics that have carried over with each new model (like large Arabic numerals and uniquely designed hands). Now, the new Ranger model pays homage to these characteristic aesthetics while incorporating new technical elements. The watch retails from $2,725 to $3,050 depending on your preferred strap, with three options available.

Living Vehicle to Release What it Calls, “The Most Powerful Trailer on Earth”

This claim is made in part because the brand’s 2023 Travel Trailer is set to boast more solar power than most homes. It can hold up to 100 gallons of fresh water, and 80 pounds of propane, and is equipped for Level 1 EV charging and for inverted power or lithium energy storage. On top of that, it hosts a full kitchen, fold-down patio, home theater and ample bathroom (called “spa-style” by some). However, one of the most exciting innovations in this new travel trailer is that its equipped with a cutting-edge “Watergen” system – which can pull humidity in from the air to create drinkable water. The 2023 Living Vehicle Travel Trailer is available to order now, with pricing starting at $339,995.
