DeLorean is ready to take the 2020s by storm, with a car designed to rival the Porsche Taycan set to hit the road soon. Dubbed the Alpha5, the model will hit production in 2024, and, according to CEO Joost de Vries, should rival, “the Mercedes-AMG GT and maybe the higher-end Porsche Taycans.” While most DeLorean fans will be pleased to see that the model has the iconic gullwing doors, the Italian-made design is expected to go 0-60 mph in under 3 seconds, with an EV range of over 300 miles. With a simple gray-white upper, two pull tabs and a solid gum sole, you can bet this “boring” shoe is going to sell out immediately when it drops on June 10.
