It’s official, the iPod is good and truly dead. Announced in the Apple Newsroom yesterday, the brand is discontinuing the last remaining iPod model: the iPod Touch. This last bastion of iPod tech was originally released in 2019, with tech that basically made it a media-only, tuned-down version of the iPhone 7. Naturally, the iPod series has been on life support for years now, with Apple clearly not introducing or investing in new models that effectively only play music, and consumers (logically) using their iPhones as an all-in-one replacement to carrying around a traditional music-only Apple device. While Apple’s 20-year legacy with the iPhone may be coming to a close in 2022, you can still snap up an iPod Touch while supplies last over on Apple webstore. When they’re gone, they’re gone. Today we’re touching on Bushmill’s 29 Year Old Pedro Ximenez Cask Whiskey, a preview of Specialized’s new line of utility e-bikes and two powerful portable Marshall Bluetooth speakers. This automatic, inflatable PFD vest sports all the security (but none of the bulk).

It may be minimalist in design, but the MIT 100 Automatic Inflatable PFD by Mustang Survival packs serious performance in its sleek package. By incorporating Membrane Inflatable Technology (MIT), Mustang Survival has produced a lightweight and flexible front-entry vest fashioned from strong but comfortable nylon fabric that outperforms the competition. When fully inflated, the MIT 100 generates a very impressive 28 lbs of buoyancy, which is enough to float most wearers face-up (and is 1.5x the output of typical foam vests.)
