We’ve had 30 years of the Land Rover Defender 110 NAS (short for “North American Spec”), and the brand is celebrating in style. Rooted on the 2023 Defender P300 S, the anniversary model features a “Fuji White” exterior with steel wheels to match, contrasted by an ebony black interior. Each model is individually numbered (via a heritage-inspired badge) and comes complete with features like a sliding panoramic roof, deployable ladder, Expedition Roof Rack, a Cold Climate Pack, Tow Pack, Black Exterior Pack and Off-Road Pack. When it comes to unfussy, reliable watches, it’s hard to beat Hamilton. This is especially true when it comes to its aviation-inspired pilot watches. The Khaki Pilot Pioneer Mechanical Chronograph builds on the legacy of the Khaki Pilot Pioneer Mechanical, adding chronograph functionality (obviously) for a design that mirrors watches worn by Britain’s Royal Air Force in the 1970s. At 40mm and featuring Hamilton’s hand-wound H-51-Si movement, it’s hard not to love the classic appeal of this everyday watch.

A first for the cushioning-focused running brand, Hoka’s Tecton X trail running shoe is notable for a host of reasons — including its spot as the first-ever Hoka sneaker to incorporate carbon fiber plates (inspired by the Earth’s own tectonic plates, hence the name). Rooted by a Vibram Megagrip outsole and responsive Hoka ProFlyX midsole, the Tecton X should deliver the springy support Hoka is known for — no matter how far you stray off-road.

As ever, We Knife Co. has a few new models to showcase, with two new flippers landing for the month of May. The Culex uses the brand’s own button lock mechanism, featuring a 2.97 inch drop point, CPM-20CV steel blade. The other is the Speedster. Using the same CPM-20CV steel, going for a slightly larger 3.5 inch blade and incorporating a titanium frame lock.

A partnership between the chef and product design firm Castor Design, the brand is small selection of functional, quality cookware and kitchen gear. While Matheson (the chef) is known for his big personality, we love the minimalist, functional appeal of this piece.
