The sneaker world lost a legend on Friday with the passing of Peter Moore. Even if that name doesn’t ring any bells, you know the designer’s work; Among his many years of work at both Nike (and rival adidas), Moore is the man behind the design of the Air Jordan I and the Jordan Brand Jumpan logo. The Q Timex series expands with the new Q Timex GMT.

Timex’s first Q Timex models dropped back in the 1970s, showcasing a quartz movement (hence the “Q”). Adding to the 50th anniversary Q Timex 1972 reissue release, Timex has added a GMT model to the Q Timex series. Featuring a red-and-blue rotating 24 bezel and a 38mm case, you can’t overlook the classic styling on a piece like this — which, on top of the obvious two-timezone functionality (it is a GMT, after all) — includes a date window and a reliable Timex Quartz movement that’s accessible (even on the go) via a back battery hatch.

Oakley dives back into the archives with the rerelease of the Sub Zero frame.

Originally released back in 1992, Oakley’s Sub Zero frames were another chapter in the brand’s radical, future-facing (pun not intended) design. While the design was out-of-the-box during its original run, today’s fascination with techwear and gorpcore (and Oakley’s own interest in digging through its archives) makes the style feel right at home 30 years later. The rereleased model has been updated with Oakley tech including Prizm lenses and Unobtainium nosepads and earsocks for on-face stability.

JJJJound adds Asics to its robust sneaker resume.

JJJJound — the once-online moodboard, now-creative agency led by Justin R. Saunders — has carved out another niche for itself thanks to its slew of tasteful collaborations. Often marked by a minimal, timeless aesthetic, JJJJound’s newest sneaker collaboration has pivoted from New Balance to Asics. The release — going for two silver monochromatic takes on the GEL-Kayano 14 — is expected to land in July (though not confirmed). Like other JJJJound releases, if this is something you’re into, stay tuned.
