Add another name to the streaming wars — this time in the world of sports. FIFA, the global governing body for football (or, as we heathens in the U.S. call it, soccer) has announced its own streaming platform, aptly named FIFA+. While the platform is free and ad-supported at present, it’s likely to receive a subscription tier before long. Those tuning in can view live soccer matches from around the world, archive matches, original documentary-style videos and an interactive section of quizzes, polls and predictions titled “The Match Centre”. Time will tell if this new soccer-focused streaming site will stack up to the larger (often local and domestically-sourced) way many people stream sports around the world.

Nomad’s Base One Max is a gorgeous (but pricey) MagSafe charger.

First things first, Nomad’s Base One Max is over $100 more than Apple’s baseline MagSafe charging option, so if price is the primary concern when buying a new charger, we’d advise you cut reading right here. That said, Nomad’s Base One Max (a step up from Nomad’s OG Base One charger) has a premium feel — helped by its glass panel charging surface — and can charge two items (think your iPhone 13 and an Apple Watch) simultaneously. It’s a steep upfront investment (not even counting the add-on 30-watt for an extra $30), but we’d be lying if we said we didn’t want one on our desks.

Nike Mountain Fly Low gets design overhaul and a Gore-Tex upper.

Nike’s (or should we say, Nike ACG’s) Mountain Fly was a smash hit when it dropped back in 2020, starting as a hightop (with a neoprene-like bootie) before being reworked as in a lowtop style. This new crop of Moutain Fly models — hitting stores April 22 — features a full-on Gore-Tex upper (which fits with the shoe’s ACG roots) with hiking-inspired roped lacing. Go off-road with the silhouette’s thickly treaded sole, accented by a Nike React midsole.

Live life al fresco with Helinox’s new Café Chair and Café Table.

We talk a lot about Helinox in this series and for good reason: The brand’s focus on lightweight, outdoor-ready furniture is second-to-none. Based on the Helinox Chair One, the Café Chair is built with dining in mind (sitting you higher and with a larger base). The companion Café Table is made with an easy-to-clean high-pressure laminate top that can withstand 212ºF (100ºC) for up to eight hours — so you can rest assured using it with cold or hot cooked food and drinks.

The XP Lite e-bike is Lectric’s most compact, lightweight and accessible model yet.

Arizona Lectric eBikes is a brand that’s focused on making e-bikes as consumer friendly and comfortable as possible — without sacrificing key features like portability and affordability. The XP Lite is the latest chapter in the brand’s offering, building upon the XP and XP 2.0 models to make a pared-down version that’s a relatively light 46lbs and boasts a Lithium Ion 48v 7.8ah battery that charges in just under five hours and can (under varying circumstances) run for 40 miles.

Built for life on (and off) the links: Meet Manors.

If you’re not already familiar with Manors, the UK based brand is reinventing (and, in a weird way, also kind of honoring) what we’d traditionally think of as “golf style.” Sure the brand does argyle sweater vests and polos, but also uses humor and modern styling to make a golf collection that feels like it could stand out in the clubhouse — without feeling like the only place you could wear its pieces was on the links. The brand’s Spring/Summer 2022 collection dropped recently, so it’s never been a better time to see what the label is about.
