If you’re looking for an off-road ready version of the Ford F-150 (without a heavy duty mark up), allow us to introduce the 2023 Ford F-150 Rattler. Using the base XL trim and incorporating detailing seen on the FX4 off-roading package, the Rattler boasts a dual exhaust system, painted 18-inch wheels and a reworked interior to match the trim. As the “Rattler” name implies, buyers can also expect the model to feature rattlesnake graphics and unique badging. While Ford hasn’t given an official price, given that this is less beefy than the the F-150 Tremor (which comes in at $49,505), we’d imagine this is coming in somewhere around $45,000. For a more comprehensive breakdown, head over to our Motoring Desk. Today, check out the latest Rolex GMT II (with an all new colorway), Dyson’s headphone-air purifier hybrid and a quick look at Steamery’s convenient steamer-iron hybrid. As ever, this is Today in Gear.

How much do you think this new Rolex GMT Master II is going to cost on the grey market?

rolex gmt master ii watch Rolex

Announced at Watches & Wonders 2022, Rolex has a new take on the GMT Master II with a few surprises in store. First things first, the black-and-green bezel insert is an entirely new colorway. While this writer is hoping its nickname becomes the “Monster Energy,” all jokes aside, it’s a nice addition to the suite of Rolex GMT Master II color options. Second, this watch is set up, effectively, for lefties, with the crown placed on the left side of the watch. As a lefty myself, this makes this new GMT Master II even more exciting. Now, the only question we have: How much is this gonna run on the secondary market? Take a closer look at this new Rolex down below.

Dyson asks: What if your headphones… had an air purifier?

We’re all well acquainted with Dyson, the design firm that’s pioneered the world home tech (shout out to those vacuum cleaners). The company’s new Dyson Zone feels like a distinctly “Dyson” way to address a world where masking is essential — even though it’s been in R&D for six years. Effectively a pair of ANC headphones with a filter on the front, the Dyson Zone’s visor connects to the headphone cups, funneling air from the cups through dual layers of filters. After running clean air down and through the visor, two jets deliver a crosswind, meaning the user only breathes the filtered air as it’s pushed in front of their nose and mouth.

The Linksouldier golf bag is everything you need without the extra bulk.

While we’d always like to have every club we own on hand every time we hit the links, we also know that carrying a ton of clubs in giant golf bag isn’t conducive to a fun day — especially if you’re not using a golf cart. Linksoul’s Linksouldier bag has just about everything you’d need — a wide kickstand, multiple carry options, a lightweight build (at just under 5 pounds when empty) and four slots for clubs. While it’s probably not going to be the bag you carry all your clubs in, it could be a great option for a casual round or new players who haven’t invested in a full suite of clubs yet.

Steamery’s Cirrus No. 3 pulls double duty as a steamer and iron.

cirrus no 3 iron and steamer Huckberry

Ironing your clothes can be a hell of a hassle and steaming is often only a temporary (and, if you’re like this writer, a last minute) solution. We love Steamery’s Cirrus No. 3 for its combo design, serving as both a steamer and iron — which be used as both simultaneously. The integrated iron plate allows the Cirrus to press problem areas on clothes like a low-heat iron, but the ergonomic design makes it easy to pull back and steam the garment as a whole. Portable, powerful and efficient, it’s hard not to love gear like this.
