Another day day, another Apple iPhone rumor. The latest projections around the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max seem to show with a larger camera section and a slightly thicker design overall. Shared on Twitter by Max Weinbach, outlined schematics show the ‌iPhone 14 Pro‌ Max’s width coming in slightly smaller than the iPhone 13 Pro Max‘s 78.1 mm, instead measuring 77.58 mm across. The heights of each phone is virtually the same, at around 160.7 mm. The thickness is where the iPhone 14 Pro Max differs, coming in slightly thicker at 7.85 mm (different from the comparable iPhone 13’s 7.65 mm thickness). Signs also point to Apple swapping the long center notch at the top of current iPhones for smaller, pill-shaped and circular cutouts at the top of the front display. This rumored change is set for the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max models, with the downmarket iterations of the iPhone 14 series seeing no change to the front-facing cutout. On the whole, rumors surrounding the broader iPhone 14 series are still up in the air (they are rumors, after all). While we’re thankful for and will be tracking the info gleaned by MacRumors, we recommend that anyone looking into unreleased iPhone details always approach with caution. As for everything else, two special edition Unimatic dive watches, Norse Projects’ highly packable collection, and a new, sustainably-minded Teva sandal are on the docket today. As always, this is Today in Gear.

No matter what you’re getting up to this spring or summer, Standard Cloth’s Oliver Nylon Short from Urban Outfitters may be the only pair you’ll ever need. Made from 100 percent nylon (so they’re functionally water-resistant), the shorts are able to pivot from activity to activity without breaking a sweat – or, at least while easily shedding yours. The five-inch inseam is just right, hitting slightly above the knees at a length that’s not uncomfortably short. Cut in a relaxed fit with an elongated drawstring, these shorts will be comfy whether you’re heading out or hanging out.

With two new special editions of its Modello Uno — the U1S-MP and U1S-MPN — the made-in-Italy timepiece receives an updated bezel in the form of a fully graduated matte black engraved aluminum insert. The indices are made from white Super-LumiNova and the face features a date window at 6 o’clock. Featuring a slimmer profile, the watches’ dive credentials are bolstered by a 300m of water resistance, both powered by a 38-hour power reserve Sellita SW200-1 movement.
