You’re likely already aware of Teddy Santis’ Aimé Leon Dore and, by extension, the NY brand’s blockbuster collaborations with New Balance. The partnership has been so successful that New Balance tapped Santis to head up its “Made in USA” product line. While the world has only had a single teaser of the latest iteration of the New Balance 990 (to be known as the 990v6) to use as possible look at Santis’ new role, according to reporting by Business of Fashion, Santis’ first Made in USA gear should hit sometime this spring. For those who have struggled to get their hands on the sell-out Aimé Leon Dore and New Balance sneakers, Santis’ approach to this line should serve as a bit of a relief; speaking to Business of Fashion, Santis’ explained: “We’re not trying to have this very scarce product and we’re also not trying to flood the market. We’re making products for the guy who actually wants to wear them.” As one of the most hyped upcoming projects of the year, we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for what Santis has in store for this bigger vision of New Balance. This new motorcycle helmet infuses your kit with drag racing DNA.

Bell’s Eliminator motorcycle helmets series channels that race-day sensation for the everyday rider, with its combination of advanced safety and a sleek design. The Eliminator is available in both fiberglass and 6K carbon and comes standard with a Pro-Vision Dual-Pane Anti-Fog face shield that can be swapped with a visor (or alternate shield colors like dark smoke, gold or silver iridium). The helmets also boast a washable, anti-bacterial liner and are compatible with prescription eyewear thanks to specialized pockets woven directly into the interior of the liner.

We’re big fans of NOMOS here at Gear Patrol and for good reason; the German watchmaker has been making understated timepieces for decades that anyone can appreciate. The brand has just dropped a 35mm and 39mm version of the Tangente Neomatik watch with a “platinum grey” color scheme, with rhodium-plated hands. Details include straps in either Horween leather or as a stainless steel bracelet and the use of NOMOS’ in-house Neomatik caliber DUW 3001 movement.

Ciele launches new sublabel and drops some seriously high-tech hats and headwear.

Ciele is no stranger to making rugged outdoor gear, but the introduction of its “gry” concept line incorporates some of the best in fabric tech into some hard-wearing headwear. Consisting of the GOCap RVT gry, CRWCap RVT SC gry (both ball cap styles), BCHat RVT gry and BNDCKHat RVT gry (both bucket hats), the gry series is designed to be a future-facing, problem solving production series.
