Much like yesterday’s Spotify “Wrapped” launch, Apple is taking time to look back at the past 12 months, celebrating the best apps and games on the Apple App Store with the fittingly titled App Store Awards. Ranging from the “iPhone Game of the Year” to the “iPhone App of the Year”. A combination of games, connectivity apps and creative tools, the list highlights ingenuity across the entirety of the Apple ecosystem — iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch. As Tim Cook said, “From self-taught indie coders to inspiring leaders building global businesses, these standout developers innovated with Apple technology, with many helping to foster the profound sense of togetherness we needed this year.” If you’re not interested in Apple apps, then have no fear; we’ll be touching on everything from Tesla’s sold-out Cybertruck whistle to The Dalmore’s entry into the world of… whiskey NFTs. United Arrows teases New Balance 550 we’re praying comes stateside.

Aimé Leon Dore has already done wonders to build up the hype surrounding the New Balance 550, but Japanese fashion conglomerate United Arrows might have our favorite take yet. Decking the 550 in shades of grey, ecru and ivory, this has an almost-plush like feel to it. It’s so clean, we might be seeing if can scoop these up through a proxy buyer (or hoping United Arrows actually ships them stateside).
