Announced yesterday, Bell’s Brewery (the brewers behind the popular Two Hearted Ale) has reached an agreement with Lion — an Australian-based company that acquired New Belgium back in 2019 — and will be rolled into the global beverage conglomerate. It’s a move that sees the Michigan craft brewer, which has been in business in some form or another since 1985, pivot towards a longer-term growth and even a push for greater sustainability in its brewing operations. It also is vaguely reminiscent of the merging of cult-favorite label Dogfish Head into the greater Sam Adams (aka: Boston Beer) brand family, as craft brewers seek out bigger markets and wider distribution. But enough about beer, we know why you’re here: You’re seeking today’s new gear updates.
