As more and more electric vehicles grab headlines in the motoring space, it feels weird to celebrate the latest Range Rover — a car that decidedly puts luxury aesthetics over a focus on fuel alternatives. That’s not to say that I’m not celebrating the new era of electric and hybrid vehicles (which, for the record, includes this new Range Rover — it’s just that an all-electric drivetrain will come later on in 2024), but I can’t help but daydream about the future-classic details that make this Range Rover a thoroughly contemporary definition of “all the trimmings.” We’ll dive into the new Rover’s details, on top of dissecting Vollebak’s Nomad Hoodie, adidas’ new headphones (you read that right) and more. With Sperry launching a collaboration with award-winning musician John Legend, it makes perfect sense that the partnership would incorporate a take on Sperry’s flagship shoe. John Legend’s tune-up of the Boat Shoe goes in a distinctly plush direction, swapping a leather upper for a soft suede. The sole of the shoe is supported by a proprietary PLUSHWAVE footbed, featuring an embossed ring of piano keys along the outer edge of the insole.
