Ready-made cocktails are wariness-inducing, oftentimes saccharine malt beverages — the drinkers of which refer to them as “bevvies”. Slow & Low is not part of that drinker’s scourge. Rather, this is a rye-whiskey-based Old Fashioned simmered with raw honey, orange peel and horehound to produce an easy-drinking cocktail right out of the bottle. Hochstadter’s started making these pre-made batches back in the late 1800s, so raise a glass and salute history. Then raise another glass and salute the first glass. Porsche Panamera
Whether you consider it desirable evolution or blasphemous nonsense, it’s hard to deny that Porsche’s Panamera sedan makes quite a statement. Its performance figures line up with the brand’s heritage; its second set of seats and doors do not.
