If you’re looking for a really sweet deal on in-ear noise-canceling headphones, you can buy a refurbished pair of Jabra Elite 65e on eBay for just $40. That’s a pretty steep discount. — Tucker Bowe
Filson Bandera Backpack Save $75: Founded in 1897, Seattle-based Filson made a name for itself outfitting some of the hardest workers in the West. It’s bags accompanied workers to the rugged Alaskan wilderness and were proven year after year. While Filson still makes its classic designs, the brand also makes some backpacks more suited to everyday use. The Bandera backpacks are made in the USA from hardwearing twill. The 22L bag has a large U-shaped zipper, an interior laptop pocket and a front zip pocket. Normally priced at $175, this discontinued model is now 43-percent off and costs just $100 — act fast if you want a great everyday pack. — John Zientek

The Stage Series Concert E is no exception. Made in America, it features a solid mahogany top, back and sides in Breedlove’s original body shape, and an African ebony fretboard and bridge.

Normally priced at a very fair $830, the Stage Series Concert E now costs just $668. That’s almost too good to be true, so if it strikes your fancy, act fast — savings like this won’t be around long. — John Zientek
Arc’teryx Cerium LT Hooded Down Jacket Save $114: For months now, we’ve been stressing that the best time to score cold-weather gear, particularly awesome down jackets, is when it’s not cold out. Today serves up yet more proof, in that the legendary Arc’teryx Cerium LT Hooded Down Jacket is currently on sale for a whopping $114 off at Backcountry. I have the non-hooded version of this jacket, and it’s just about perfect for fall weather — and with proper layering, winter weather as well.
Dropping from $379 to $265 makes for quite a steal — as long as you’re not too picky. Don’t worry, the jacket is available in small through extra large. However, only one of the 10 colors is so sharply discounted: Deep Cove, which is sort of a light blue. But honestly, it’s a pretty good-looking color, and a month or so from now — if not sooner — you’ll be stoked to have it in your wardrobe.
Note: A couple other colors, Nocturne (a midnight blue) and Neptune (a sea green), are discounted to $305 in select sizes. — Steve Mazzucchi
L.L. Bean Boots Save 20%: Heritage New England outdoor brand L.L.Bean has been in business for over 100 years. Its first-ever product? The sort-of ugly, undeniably-iconic Bean Boot. Leon Leonwood Bean (yeah, that’s what the L.L. stands for) designed them as a solution to prevent wet feet while hunting in Maine’s damp conditions.
The design of the boot hasn’t changed much since: it features a stout rubber bottom and a hardy leather upper, which makes them ideal for winter’s inclement conditions. The boots have spread beyond hunting though, and now come in different heights with various linings for different temperatures and uses.
Right now, there’s an extensive collection of Bean Boot models (as well as apparel) up for sale on L.L.Bean’s website — just use the code SPLASH20 at checkout. — John Zientek
12.9-Inch iPad Pro (2019) Save Up to $399: Right now, Amazon is selling the latest 12.9 iPad Pro (Wi-Fi only) with 1TB of storage for $1,350 – that’s $200 less than the exact same model on Apple’s website. Of course, the 1TB of storage is probably overkill for most people; but if you’re a photographer or videographer who edits on-the-go (or basically anybody who doesn’t use iCloud for storage), this iPad Pro model makes sense. — Tucker Bowe
