Road trips are woven within the fabric of America, which is why Cameron Weiss of Weiss Watches drove a 1971 Land Rover Series IIA Truck across the country from Los Angeles to Charleston, SC. That journey took him through the Rocky Mountains, Texas hill country, the Kentucky Bourbon Trail, the Great Smokey Mountains and more, inspiring him to design a special limited-edition American Issue Field Watch that pays tribute to the classic details of the gauges on the dashboard of the Weiss Rover.

This limited production (50 pieces total) of the Weiss Gauge Series is also the first of any Weiss timepieces to feature fully luminescent numerals for even greater visibility in the dark and anywhere life’s journeys take you. The 42mm watch also features a sapphire crystal and 316L stainless steel exhibition case back that displays the CAL 1003 American-made movement in all its glory.
