Vitamix Vita-Prep 2.3 HP Blender Save $500: There comes a time in every person’s life when a blender with actual horsepower is on the shopping list. If you’re that person, and that time is now, you’re in luck.
Vitamix’s all-powerful Vita-Prep blender is slashed big time right now — from north of $800 to $358. The Vita-Prep is the original all-in-one appliance, and it does it without wi-fi connectivity and LED screens and programmability overload. Its aerospace-grade, laser cut steel blades are powered by a 2.3 HP motor which, together with a simple speed-changing knob, make a blender that can dice whole vegetables, make ice cream, cook soup, whip cream, liquify nuts and make the smoothest of smoothies. It generates so much suction it actually sucks air bubbles back into the blades and limits over-frothy end products.
Don’t look at Vitamix’s Vita-Prep as a blender — look at it as the original Instant Pot. Save $500 on the professional grade model today — Will Price

Riedel Vinum Extreme Cabernet Glasses Save $20: In 1986 Master Austrian glassmakers Riedel changed the glassware game by introducing the first line of machine-made pieces tailored to different wine types — this was the Vinum collection, which has held as the standard for affordable, varietal-specific glasses since. The Vinum collection, which features a glass for cabernets to rosés, is made with dishwasher-safe crystal glass and also comes in an “extreme” model, providing an upgraded glass size. Right now, a set of two Riedel Vinum Cabernet Sauvignon (Merlot and Bordeaux, too) Extreme series glasses is $39, $20 off its usual price. — Will Price
This Dog Tag Should Be Standard Issue for the Military Save Over $85: Spyderco’s Dog Tag Folding Knife is the result of a collaboration with Ukranian knifemaker Serge Panchenko, and is nearly the same dimensions as the current mil-spec dog tag. Its 1.22-inch sheepsfoot blade is made from high-quality CPM S30V stainless steel, while its handle is a combination titanium and aluminum. The knife is a slip joint design, which means that it doesn’t lock open. If you live somewhere like New York City with stringent knife laws, that’s good news. Spyderco doesn’t provide ball chain with the Dog Tag folder, so you’ll need to pick one up separately.
The knife is currently available on Massdrop for $45, down from its retail price of $130, and ships April 24. But if you don’t want to wait that long, you can also pick one up from Amazon (Prime eligable) for $56. — AJ Powell
Bonita BV1901TS Save $50: Bonavita’s drip coffee makers are praised both for their ability to make a cup of Joe on par with manual pour-over methods (sans fuss) and their relatively affordable price (they’re a hell of a lot cheaper than a comparable Technivorm, that’s for sure). The BV1901TS, for example, has a pre-infusion mode for freshly-ground coffee and consistently heats water to the ideal brewing range. Thanks to a campaign on Massdrop, its been discounted to just $110, though only 100 coffee makers are available. — Andrew Connor
