Alps and Meters Alpine Winter Trouser
Before Day-Glo polyester mounted its ski slope takeover, wool was the go-to garment for a day on the hill. It was perhaps, a more refined (and much less crinkly) period for the sport; wool ski pants were warm and came with a tailored fit. Wool hasn’t lost those capabilities, and now Alps and Meters has merged it with modern textiles to create a ski pant that preserves the best of both old and new. On the surface, the Alpine Winter Trouser is a handsome pant designed with a water-repellent wool herringbone face and durable leather accents. But beneath is another fully waterproof membrane that’ll keep any skier dry a through a day. The combination creates the perfect pant for an active day of skiing and the good times that come after.

Montblanc Timewalker Manufacture Chronograph
Ahead of SIHH 2018, Montblanc unveiled the newest addition to its Timewalker collection: the Manufacture Chronograph. The watch takes on the same look as the standard Timewalker Chronograph but adds an in-house, column wheel chronograph movement (the standard Timewalker Chronograph uses a Sellita-based engine). On the outside, the watch also gets a vintage-inspired, black-on-white panda dial red accents and a black tachymeter bezel. The watch should go on sale in fall 2018 for around $5,900.— Andrew Connor
