Thursday Boot Co. Captain
When it comes to high-quality, handcrafted leather boots, you have the pick of the litter these days — but not many that come in under $200. Finding top-tier boots at fair and honest pricing is a tough task. The Captain from Thursday Boot Company delivers just that: handcrafted natural Horween leather, a Goodyear Welt construction and a full glove leather interior lining for comfort. The Captain Boot checks all the right boxes and for a steal. — Gear Patrol

TIG-gear-patrol-ONeplus5T

OnePlus 5T
The OnePlus 5T is the company’s new flagship smartphone. It looks similar to the OnePlus 5 that was released only a few months ago in June, the main difference being that the 5T has a full 6-inch OLED display. Yep, almost zero bezels. The fingerprint sensor has been moved to the back of the phone, similar to one the Google Pixel or LG V30. It also boasts an impressive dual camera system, a supposedly faster face unlock than Face ID (although it’s unclear how secure it is right now) and, yes, it still has a headphone jack. Essentially, it’s a full-screen smartphone with high-end specs that only costs $499, making it a supreme rival to the Essential Phone. — Tucker Bowe

Autodromo GT Endurance Chronograph

TIG-gear-patrol-Olivers-Apparel-Porter-Hoodie

Olivers Apparel Porter Hoodie
This ain’t your ordinary cotton hoodie. This is a handsome, athletic-cut, versatile hoodie made of superfine Australian merino wool. It’s odor- and water-resistant, temperature-regulating, and has just the right amount of stretch. Can your cotton hoodie do that? — Michael Finn

TIG-gear-patrol-Shimoda-Adventure-Camera-Bags

Shimoda Designs Adventure Camera Bags
The population of Instagram-famous adventure photographers has surged over the past few years, and the number of backpacks designed for hauling camera gear into the outdoors has gone up along with it. Shimoda Designs, helmed by F-stop Gear’s former Director of Development, Ian Millar, is entering the space with a just-launched Kickstarter campaign and a full range of products that includes two backpacks, a rolling duffel and a range of organizers and cases. Each item is designed with rugged utility in mind, featuring smart concepts like a height adjustable torso, and is already backed by a group of proven photogs. — Tanner Bowden

Fresh Deals

Bose-Black-Friday-Deal-gear-patrol-lead-fullBose

Save $100 on Bose’s Noise-Canceling Headphones (and More Bose Deals)
Amazon is cheating, or rather playing dirty, by kicking off its Black Friday deals a week ahead of time — and to be honest, we like it. One of the bargains that caught our eye is on new gear from Bose; you can find a number of its headphones and speakers substantially discounted prices. There aren’t discounts on the new QC35 IIs, however, but you can save $20 on the QC35s (the same headphones just without Google Assistant). One of the best deals is on Bose’s QC25 noise-canceling headphones for $100 off.

Visvim-FBT-Shoe-gear-patrol-full-leadVisvim

Save Big On Cult Brand Visvim’s Iconic FBT Shoe
First released in 2001, Visvim’s iconic FBT shoe perfectly embodies the cult Japanese brand’s aesthetic. It’s a blend of old and new, a moccasin-style upper on an athletic shoe midsole. A detail-rich sleek design, the FBT (named in reference to the ‘80s new wave pop band Fun Boy Three) features a hand-sewn suede upper, an EVA midsole, a TPU heel stabilizer and a Vibram outsole. The shoe is normally priced at $719, but if you shop now at online retailer End, you can get 35 percent off. The FBT is available in a range of sizes and comes in black, dark brown, sand and camel. Though pricey, it’s a worthy investment for the right person: an incredibly comfortable shoe with both quality construction and distinct style.

DON-gear-patrol-The-North-Face-Duffel

The North Face Base Camp 50L Duffel
Save $30:To call this thing a “duffel” would be like calling an armored truck a ‘tin wheelie box.’ Its 1000-denier laminated nylon shell is extremely strong and weather-resistant, and it easily converts from a shoulder bag to a backpack. Don’t call it a duffel. Call it an apocalypse-proof gear hauler.— Michael Finn

DON-gear-patrol-Seiko

Seiko SMY157
Save $239: While most watchmakers go the route of solar charging to eliminate battery changes on quartz movements, Seiko devised a system that uses the kinetic energy of your arm’s movements to juice the battery up. The watch’s case and bracelet are made from stainless steel and features a black finish, and is water resistant to 100 meters. — Andrew Connor

DON-gear-patrol-Southwestern-Vintage-Jacquard

Woolrich Southwestern Vintage Jacquard Blanket
Save $98:If Scotland is plaid, then America is Southwestern jacquard. And few all-American brands are better suited to weave such a classic pattern than Woolrich. This USA-made wool blanket is 50 by 60 inches, making it a fantastic addition to any couch or lounge chair. — Michael Finn

DON-gear-patrol-Kershaw-Knife

Kershaw Blur Folding Knife
Save $20:When it comes to EDC essentials, a sturdy folding knife is a must. And there aren’t many blades out there that have the reputation the Kershaw Blur has and today, you can get one 38% off. — Bryan Campbell
