Good morning and happy Monday. Yesterday marked the last official day of spring — although, like you, we’ve been celebrating summer for a while now. Still, it’s nice to know we’ve got a solid three months of the stuff coming our way in the states. Our R&R of choice? Kicking back with a beer and a book and letting the world go by — on evenings and weekends, of course. The daily grind doesn’t stop just because the sun’s out. Before you kick back, here’s what’s good in gear: a high-end bocce ball set, a tough-as-hell diaper bag, upgraded reporters’ notebooks and much more.
And here are some fresh stories to start the day.
Turned Hardwood Bowls by Tanner Goods

Stepping outside their leather norm, Tanner Goods has enlisted a Portland-based woodworker to fashion this line of wooden bowls from sustainably sourced Oregon walnut and big-leaf maple. Available in three sizes — 6, 8 and 10 inches — the bowls are each made from completely different pieces of wood, so each is unique.
