Bang & Olufsen BeoLab 90

Bang & Olufsen’s new flagship loudspeaker, the BeoLab 90, is a beacon of design and high-quality sound. The home speaker tower comes with features like beam-width control, beam-direction control and active room compensation so you always have the best-possible listening experience no matter where you’re sitting. All of these features can be adjusted and controlled via the speaker’s remote, or by a dedicated smartphone app.

Kawasaki’s latest big Ninja has a inline-four-cylinder engine, a new Brembo front-brake system and electronic monitors.

Microsoft Surface Pro 4

Microsoft unveiled its new Surface Pro 4 this week. It has a slighter larger screen than the Surface Pro 3 (by 0.3 inches), an upgraded keyboard, and is powered by Windows 10. They’re available for preorder now and will ship by October 26.

Suunto Traverse Collection

Suunto’s newest collection of sports watches is geared toward day hikers and weekend adventurers. Available in five different colors (Amber, Black, White, Graphite and Slate), each Traverse syncs with Movescount and allows wearers to plan and upload their hikes before heading out the door. Each device has a built-in GPS satellite navigation system, which accurately keeps track of the person’s location and distance covered, and allows them to save key points along the hike. Other specs like altitude, vertical speed and total ascent are also monitored. And since each Traverse has a battery life of 100 hours, a 24-to-48 adventure is no sweat.

Puphaus by Pyradmd

This contemporary doghouse is the brainchild of a industrial designer and a graphic designer. It’s made out of Western Red Cedar wood and a cement board from Portland.

The Roll-Rack by COR Surf

An ideal storage system for the garage, the Roll-Rack has interchangeable rolling dowels and can sit a number of surfboards, kayaks and SUP boards.

The Sebastian Cox Kitchen by deVOL

This new kitchen collaboration is designed with sustainable timbers (birch, beech and ash) from England which are woven together. Sebastian Cox, the designer from whom this collaboration takes its name, says the kitchen is meant to look “like it breathes.”

Razor DXT Drift Trike

Razor’s new trike drifter has a full-size steel frame, 10-inch rear wheels and can hit some pretty alarming speeds when racing downhill.

Canon Powershot G9 X

The Powershot G9 X is Canon’s newest point-and-shoot camera. Some of its specs include a 1.0-inch high-sensitivity CMOS sensor, an f/2.0-4.9 lens and a DIGIC 6 image processor.

The Drift Vest is the perfect transitional piece for fall, designed with the city-dweller in mind. Made of a luxurious Japanese cotton-nylon blend that’s soft to the touch, this stand-alone piece boasts 800-fill down that promises to keep your core extremely warm, while the asymmetric quilting gives it a modern city-inspired look. 

New Apple iMacs with Retina Displays

After setting a new standard for desktop displays with the 5k 27-inch iMac, Apple has now released a premium 21.5-inch model with a 4k display in addition to upgraded processors, RAM and graphics performance. All 27-inch iMacs moving forward have been upgraded to 5k displays, which apparently boast better color reproduction over the previous generation. More importantly, the base price of the new 27-inch versions is now $200 less.

Light L16 Camera

The Light L16 Camera is looking to occupy the space between a DSLR and your cell phone camera. The L16 has 16 small cameras and small sensors. Based on lighting conditions, 10 of the 16 cameras will fire when you press the shutter. Light’s computer software then combines each of the exposures to create a high-resolution image up to 52MP.

The Magic Keyboard, Magic Mouse 2 and Magic Trackpad 2

In addition to their two new iMac displays, Apple has unveiled three redesigned ways to “click, scroll, swipe and type.” The Magic Keyboard ($99) has a low profile and improved key stability. The Magic Mouse 2 ($79) has a new multi-touch surface so users can easily swipe from page to page; and they can scroll in any direction with just one finger. For those who favor a trackpad, there’s the Magic Trackpad 2 ($129). Its touch-sensitive surface area is 30 percent larger than Apple’s previous version, and with its new force touch sensors, different actions can be performed depending on the amount of pressure applied by each finger. All these devices are obviously different. But what they all have in common, which is also Apple’s big selling point, is: they all have built-in rechargeable lithium ion batteries.

Sony RX1R II

Sony just announced the newest edition to their RX series: the RX1R II. The camera has a 42-megapixel sensor, a fixed 35mm F/2.0 lens and, like others in the RX line, it has a tiltable LCD screen. The camera will be available next month.

‘Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection’

Only available on PS4, this collection features single-player campaigns from the franchise’s previous games: Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception. It also gives gamers exclusive access to the Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End multiplayer beta.
