The de-facto name in GPU development has crafted a new signature badge that’ll be affixed to the world’s grandest gaming desktops. Engineered by the NVIDIA GeForce team, along with a number of deluxe custom PC builders, any given GeForce Battlebox includes, at a minimum, a GeForce GTX 980 Ti for the highest-possible GPU performance, an Intel Core i7 CPU for the best-possible CPU performance, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, and the newly released Windows 10. NVIDIA isn’t hawking the machines directly, instead letting those who know the art of PC building do their thing. Beyond the obvious bragging rights, each Battlebox is also able to handle VR and 4K gaming — the two things ushering in the very future of what it means to game.

Snap Flying Camera

Drones have always been a losing compromise between quality and size. Simply put, if you’ve wanted something that’s small enough to carry around and can also record high-quality video you’ve been SOL. Vantage Robotics and their Snap flying camera (they’ve done their best to distance themselves from the term “drone” and any negative associations that come with) are out to fight the compromise with a boatload of pure engineering. They’ve come up with what might be the smallest 2-axis stabilizing gimbal with an attached 4K camera, chucked a bulky remote in favor of your phone (though if you’re a die-hard two-stick guy, it’s still compatible) and leveraged a ton of automation to turn the Snap into something that anyone can fly and get great results out of. Icing on the cake is that it folds down to fit in a small backpack and currently costs less than $1,000 to preorder.

Sony Xperia Z5 Premium

The newest Sony Xperia flagship confirms two things: first, big phones are here to stay. Second: so is 4K. The so-called Sony Xperia Z5 premium’s main selling point is a 5.5-inch 4K screen. At any rate, underneath the unearthly display on each phone is a Snapdragon 810 64-bit processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot capable of boosting that number to 200GB — which is perhaps the true selling point for smartphone power users lamenting the loss of that same feature on phones like the aforementioned Galaxy Note 5, as well as shutterbugs looking to truly capitalize on the Xperia’s new 23MP camera. There’s also a fingerprint sensor built right into the power button on the side of the phone.

LG Rolly Keyboard

Another upside to big phones: no more carrying around a laptop. With contemporary phone specs being what they are, all you need is an innocuous bluetooth keyboard like LG’s just-announced roll-up one.
