Catalyst Waterproof Apple Watch Case

Catalyst’s latest is a line of IP-68 waterproof, MIL-SPEC 810G shockproof Apple Watch cases. The first-ever waterproof Apple Watch case will likely set off an onslaught of Apple Watch accessories of varying utility from multiple brands — but credit where credit’s due: if, as the manufacturer claims, the case leaves all the watch’s functions intact (heart rate sensors, charging dock, touchscreen, microphone and speaker), the result could very well make the Apple Watch a useful purchase for rangers, fisherman and plenty of other workers out in the wild. With a depth rating of 16.4 feet (as of most recent testing), it’s unlikely to replace a dive watch, but paired with the case’s salt-corrosion resistance, it’s enough to let you feel secure in taking your wrist-borne supercomputer out to sea. It’s also reasonably sleek.
