The New York Times Magazine Relaunch
This past weekend, subscribers to The New York Times were introduced to a new look for the supplementary Times Magazine since its last makeover in 2011. Led by the magazine’s design director Gail Bichler, and art director Matt Willey, it features many changes in terms of design and content for the print issues, including entirely original typefaces and a heavier stock paper. Readers on tablets and phones will also be pleased by its revamped responsive design for digital platforms. nytimes.com

epaulet x Alden Blackjack Boots
The Blackjack boot is an understated collaboration between Alden Shoe Company and Brooklyn-based retailer epaulet. With black leather laces and metal eyelets (also in black), its plain-toe upper is constructed from soft-grin “Lady Calf” leather with a matte finish. Adding to its austere aesthetic is the boot‘s rugged Commando sole. $575

Juniper Ridge Desert Denim Wash
Juniper Ridge continue their line of fragrances, this time with a small-batch spray meant to mask all those unwanted odors that result from unwashed pairs of raw denim. The 3.3-ounce spray is a blend of wild-harvested cedar, sawdust, Mojave sunflower and other botanicals for a dry, leathery scent that works well on the rest of your apparel too. $45
