As we near the end of Dry January, we’ve got some liquor-related news for you. For the first time since Saudi Arabia banned alcohol in 1952, the country is opening a liqour store. The store, located in the capital city of Riyadh, is not a total free for all, though. It is only open to a select group of non-Muslim diplomats. It’s strict business, too: taking pictures inside the store is not allowed and shoppers must put their phones in secure pouches.
Today we’re taking a look at a Japanese snack box, cozy linen sheets and new pair of hikers. This is Today in Gear.

A Japanese Snack Box
If you’re of the opinion that Japanese snacks are the best (like we are) then you’ll love to get, or give, a Bokksu Snack Box (1 month is $65). Each box is centered around a theme and includes more than 20 different snacks, candies and teas sourced from centuries-old family makers in Japan. You never know what you’re going to get, but you can expect interesting mochi and fun tea pairings. You can subscribe for up to 12 months of Bokksu to keep the excitement going all year.
