Is Algae Oil The New Avocado Oil?

Trending: Marketed for everyday cooking, Algae Cooking Club’s algae oil (from $25) has a higher composition of Omega-9 — a healthy fat — compared to olive and avocado oil. It also has a high smoke point, over 500 degrees, and claims to be the purest cooking oil on the market. If you’re wondering about the oil having a salty flavor, the brand says its neutral and light.
