WatchTime New York is one of New York City’s (and indeed, the watch world at large’s) most enjoyable events: it’s not an industry trade show, and it’s not a private party. Rather, it’s a chance for the watch-buying public at large to mingle with over 30 brands, speak with editors, attend panels, and, of course, to try on new timepieces — all hosted by one of the watch industry’s leading publications.
This year, WatchTime New York is happening October 26th and 27th at Gotham Hall, and Gear Patrol is an official sponsor, which means you, dear reader, get $10 off the general admission price of $39 for the full-day event on the 27th by using the code “GEARPATROL.” What’s more, Gear Patrol is sponsoring a special panel at 4:00pm on 10/27 called An American Movement, moderated by Logan Baker, WatchTime Editor, and Oren Hartov, Gear Patrol Assistant Editor. We’ll be speaking with the founders of Brew Watch Co, Oak and Oscar and Monta about the state of American watchmaking, and what it takes to found a new watch company in today’s landscape.
Several brands will be debuting new products at the show, including:
RGM William Penn

The Details: American watch brand RGM will debut its William Penn Model to the public for the first time at WatchTime New York in a 10-piece limited edition with a new old-stock case (Swiss-made) and American-made dial and hands.
