In the last few years, WiiM has made significant waves in the audio world by offering high-resolution wireless streaming components that were substantially more affordable than what previously existed.
For example, the WiiM Pro ($149) and WiiM Pro Plus ($219) are music streamers similar to the Sonos Port ($449). They bring wireless streaming capabilities—such as support for AirPlay, Spotify Connect, and Google Cast—to traditional hi-fi at a much more palatable price point.
And the WiiM Amp ($299) and WiiM Amp Pro ($379) streaming amplifiers work similarly to the Sonos Amp ($699), able to drive passive loudspeakers while also adding wireless streaming capabilities.
However, the California-based audio company just revealed a new amplifier that seemingly goes against its modern streaming roots and is more aligned with traditional hi-fi components of the past.
WiiM Vibelink Amp

WiiM’s first non-streaming amp
Last month at the Bristol Hi-Fi Show in England, WiiM teased the Vibelink Amp, its first audio component without any kind of streaming capabilities. But it didn’t reveal any real details — or even a price.
But that changed this week.
