Spotify subscribers. You know when you’re listening to a playlist or radio station and one song keeps coming up that you either don’t like or are tired of hearing?

Well, Spotify is rolling out a new feature to fix just that.

Spotify, snooze

This week, Spotify announced that it’s rolling out a suite of new features to its music streaming app.

Several of them are a bit underwhelming — such as an updated Queue and new controls for customizing a playlist — but Spotify has also introduced a 30-day Snooze feature.

As you probably guessed, the 30-day Snooze feature will remove that song from all your personalized playlists — across all your devices — for 30 days.

According to Spotify, this option “allows you to temporarily remove a track from your recommendations, so you can keep things fresh while leaving the door open for a future reunion.”

You’ll be able to find this new Snooze feature by hitting the three dots (located in the top-right corner) when that song is playing.

This Snooze feature promises to be a more temporary solution than the current “Hide” option for times when you’re tired of hearing a song rather than wanting to never hear it again.

When’s it coming?

Spotify is currently testing the feature on its Premium subscribers — note, if you’re currently on a Family plan, you likely aren’t be able to access the feature just yet.

The company says it plans to bring all these new features, including its 30-day Snooze feature, to “more listeners soon.”
