Soundpeats is a budget-friendly audio brand that makes a wide variety of wireless earbuds — all of them cost less than $100. Its newest wireless earbuds, the Capsule3 Pro+, are no different.
The Soundpeats Capsule3 Pro+ wireless earbuds cost $90 — although there’s a deal right now where you can get them for way less — and, at first glance, look like cheap knockoffs of AirPods Pro. However, they also have a sneaky cool hi-fi feature.
In addition to their 12mm dynamic drivers, the Capsule3 Pro+ feature Cowell Top-Firing xMEMS microspeakers — which Soudpeats calls the “world’s smallest solid-state drivers.” This promises to help them sound way better than most other cheap earbuds.

The world’s smallest solid-state drivers
The Capsule3 Pro+’s 12mm dynamic drivers still promise to deliver clear mids, crisp highs and powerful bass, but the top-firing xMEMS microspeakers will work in tandem with them to deliver an even more refined sound.
According to Soundpeats, the microspeakers “utilize a single-piece silicon membrane that is significantly harder and faster than plastic, unlike conventional coil speakers.” This helps them deliver audio with improved clarity and accuracy.
