Sonos periodically runs sales, but they’re typically not that steep (think 10% off) and usually only apply to a select few speakers. While the latter part is currently still true, the company is running an Earth Day promotion that significantly drops the price of several of its key offerings.
Specifically, it’s taking 25 percent off select “Certified Refurbished” products. This means that you’re getting a big discount on products that are already discounted because they’ve been refurbished by Sonos.
Of course, these Earth Day promotions only apply to a few of Sonos’s current offerings … but there are a few standouts, particularly if you’re in the market for Sonos’s excellent noise-canceling headphones or midrange Dolby Atmos soundbar.
Note: Sonos isn’t running deals on its most affordable smart speaker, the Era 100, but it recently permanently dropped the price by $50, from $249 to $199.
Also: Sonos is selling certified refurbished models of its Arc soundbar (here), but they’re the same price as the “new” models (here), which Sonos is currently phasing out … so you might well get the latter if you’re in the market for a larger soundbar.
